The Social Sciences and Science Fair, organized among the high schools affiliated with the Health and Education Foundation (SEV), was hosted this year by SEV American College on April 21–22.

The first day of the fair began with an opening ceremony attended by students and jury members. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to present the projects they had prepared with great effort and dedication to the jury and visitors. The projects, developed in the fields of social sciences and natural sciences, stood out for their depth of content, originality, and presentation skills.

As part of the fair, projects prepared in the disciplines of geography, history, sociology, philosophy, religious culture and ethics, physics, chemistry, and biology were evaluated. While presenting their work to a jury composed of expert academics, students also engaged in a collaborative environment that supported peer learning.

On the second day, the program, which began in Beylerbeyi, continued with an awards ceremony held during a Bosphorus cruise. Among the projects evaluated throughout the fair, outstanding works were recognized and awarded in various categories.

This year, awards were presented in the following categories:

  • Best Displayed Project
  • Most Original Project
  • Most Academic/Scientific Project
  • Best Oral Presentation
  • Best Use of Sources
  • Best Use of Technology
  • Project with the Strongest Real-Life Connection

We would like to thank all our students, teachers, and stakeholders who contributed to this event, which supports students’ scientific thinking skills and encourages research and production.
