One of the goals of SEV American College is to instill in the students a commitment to bilingual and multicultural interaction for the appreciation of diversity of perspectives and cultures. The international make-up of the faculty and administration as well as the multicultural outlook of the teachers and the academic program will help students to realize this goal. Moreover there will be a wide variety of extracurricular programs to foster a school culture of internationalism. Examples of programs that will be offered are, but not limited to: Model United Nations conferences in several different languages, International School Theater Association conferences, Duke of Edinburgh, European Youth Parliament sessions both in and outside of Turkey, cultural exploration of countries, musical and artistic exploration of countries, international sporting events both in and outside of Turkey, as well as international social service projects.
